It really depends upon your playing style, you need to find a site that suites you. My personal preference is party poker which works very well for me.

You should start out with minimum buy-in, don’t go too big cause it might discourage you too much and it sux when you lose big. Poker Stars is a good place I like it there, that’s where I play. You can win a tournament like me it’s fun! When you install Poker Stars pick a good picture because they only allow you one change.

I highly recommend playing at as they have the offers of playing with real and play money. Also you get to earn poker points to enter in some tournaments with the prizes being real money, and if you do win and wish to have a payout, you just select cashier, and click on the payout tab and tell them how much and then in 20 buisness days you will have a check with that amount of the payout sent from them. The reason for this is that these sites have a large number of players, a variety of poker formats for free poker, and they have the best software. The smaller sites really don’t care about free money poker, so you just don’t get as many good options to play.

If I had to pick, I’d go with Full Tilt.

It is easy to get the money in but if you are in the US it can be very hard to get it out. Most poker sites only “cash out” the same way the money got in, and in some cases that can be very hard to get back to your account.
