The first online poker room was Planet Poker. They are still around but very small. Been around since 1998.
The next big one was Paradise poker. They’ve been around since 99. They got overtaken by Party when Party began running large affiliate deals, bonuses and a lot of advertising. Paradise never improved its bonus much (its still just 50 bucks!) or its software so it got left behind
