Some Random Guy asked: Thinking about playing online poker again on Poker Stars or Party Poker. Just wanted to know if anyone in the LBGT forum would be up for some poker to pass the time with some people they know off from this website. Lemme know and we could set something up for like one day out of the week.
Oh and let me know what day would be best.
Oh and its Texas Hold Em

ToScarTheArmada asked: I posted on here today about my boyfriend flirting with other women on myspace. (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhYYs9pki1OUQPJeyuwIc7Tsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080817150114AARrVwS)
I noticed today that this 15 year old girl has been blowing up his comments the past few days. They are kind of flirty in content, a lot of “hehe” and dumb stuff like that.
However today I noticed that she had commented on his daughters photos, talking about how beautiful she was. Then she commented on another one of his photos saying that “you have kind eyes.” I also noticed just now that when I walked into the other room where his computer is, he had his myspace inbox open in the background while he was playing some online poker, and she was online as well.
The thing that bothers me is that he’s 25 years old, what need does he have in talking to a 15 year old?
Should I be worried or am I just paraniod about the other stuff I read on his myspace?

stebbinite asked: I want to enter a live tournament for the first time after playing a few months online. I called the nearest poker room and learned the blinds increase every 20 minutes in their daily shootout tournaments. This seems extremely fast for a live game — how often do blinds usually increase in live poker tournaments?
I also appreciate any insight you can provide into how many orbits one can expect to see with standard level increases, versus the orbits per 20-minute increase. Thanks so much for your assistance.

wp1782 asked: Hello. I play poker online, and recently I can no longer sign on to my accounts at the various poker rooms I have accounts with. The software loads, but then it tries to connect and never does. For example, on Party Poker, the setting up connection dialog pops up, but it never will connect, even though the host has a 100% network status. I am confused, because this happens with all the poker software I have now (Pokerroom.com, Party, and Full Tilt). I have another computer in my house that shares the same internet connection, and I have no problems signing on with that computer, but for some reason my laptop will not sign on. I really need some help here. Thanks.
Arthur

rhodiumrules asked: Is it normal for a professor (in college) to be talking online to his students about non-school topics? You go to conferences together (for school) and he comes and drinks in the room with the students is this appropriate? You have seen him drunk several times, he has told you personal stories from his past, you go out to play poker (in a group) every week… is any of that wrong? Does it make a difference if he is married?
I know how this story ends… going back and looking at it from the start. He did this with me but he does it w/ everyone… I just want to know what y’all think.
male teacher, female student (if that makes a difference)… although some of the people in our group were guys too
OK… well if anyone looks at this again… it was undergrad not grad… I am in grad school now and he got me here… there was always that blurry line professionally (in my opinion). The past few years he wasnt my prof anymore and we became like best friends. It was a mentor student relationship and still is to a degree. I have just been telling him to watch it I think he gets too close to his students. In this day and age you have to be carefull. I teach freshman chem lab and our department rules are joke w/ them have fun in class make yourself available to help, but only at school during school hours.
